It’s been a while! Sorry about that! Life has been tough recently, just bear with me!
Today I wanted to talk all about my nails and how I take care of them.
These are my natural nails without any products on them. Bare bones!
For the most part, my nails are very strong and tend to grow pretty fast!
I achieve results such as these by taking Hair, Skin, and Nails vitamins daily, along with making sure I always have some kind of polish on my nails. Aside from my vitamins, I always make sure to keep up with my nails.
What I mean by this, is that before I polish my nails I will push back my cuticles, file my nails and clean them with a scrub brush. The picture above shows what they look like right after those 3 steps.
Before polishing them, I like to use either acetone or a dehydrator on my nails to ensure there isn’t any oils on my nail beds.
I also always use a rubberized base coat before applying at least 2 coats of my chosen nail polish color.
Just recently I purchased 6 different shades from KL Polish for $8.50 a piece. This is kind of pricey for polish, but if you want your polish to last, you must pay for a higher quality polish.
This color is BY FAR my favorite of the bunch, and I think even one of my favorites out of my whole collection!
It is the shade “Cozy In There?”
Also, never forget a good top coat!! I usually use the OPI Infinite Shine top coat for a high shine finish (used here) or the Seche Vite fast drying top coat.
The very last step is important to make your nails look as clean and professional as possible, and that is cuticle oil!
This is the final result!!
I have already had this polish on for 3 days now & still no chipping!
Hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you have any questions for me!
